Metal waterstop systems
Coated metal waterstops for watertight structures
Coated metal waterstops are used in concrete construction in order to seal construction joints between two concrete sections. Joints which are sealed with a metal waterstop are not elastic, hence metal waterstops are not suitable for expansion joint restoration.
AquaproofX® 1 is a coated metal waterstop system for the internal and linear sealing of construction joints. It is available as a roll or in strip form in all non-standard sizes and is characterised by its cost-effectiveness, reliability and high quality.
The joint sealing strip EasyproofX® 1 has on its one side a flexible, adherent layer with a granular coating which ensures a stable, solid connection to the concrete.
AquaproofX® 1 SRE is a crack-control element applied to create cross-sectional weaknesses in prefab walls and in-situ concrete. The resulting cracks are then sealed with AquaproofX® 1 to combat pressing and non-pressing water.
